I got out Saturday finally. with only 30 miles on the clock still had a lot of breakin to do. I also was still on delivered settings on rear shocks and Evol rc2's and stock ski and carbides. I did 15 miles and helmet BVS2 fogged, had to turn back. I pulled out my new Motor Fist snowX helmet for te first time ever. It took a bit to get used to the air and get goggles comfy.
I was stopped and 2 guys pulled up 1 on f7 1 on 7000 cat. We talked for a bit then they left. I waited 5 mins then got on it and ran them down in about 3 miles. I took the 7000 in a rutted up area pulling a double jump clearing him while about 4' off the ground, The F7 was all over the trail and I had to stick the nose in on the corner. It pushed a little cause of the small carbides but gathered it and nailed it - pulled the skis 1' and took about 100 yds of 1' moguls with the skis up I ran about 5 miles full bore and then came to road Xing. I stopped and waited but they did not show up. I figured they were stopped behind me trying to figure out what had just happened.
PS i did not tell them about the turbo
This sled takes some physical force to ride it but is the closest thing to a X sled I have ever ridden. Blows the Pro R away!

Did you ever have a nytro?
Guessing not if you think this sled takes physical effort to drive.
Glad your digging the sled. They chassis is pretty good and goes well with this.motor.

I never owned a Nytro but my old riding bud has XTX and I rode it many times..... but I could not sit down on it due to back and bad hips so I never rode flat out.
I have had 5 -rx-1's 4 Apex's and 1 attack but never this much power or 141" track. The skis are pushing badly with the stock carbides and 150 stud tips so I have to wrestle it through the turns. I am switching the skis out today tried this weekend but even with the proper saddles from Simmons the rubbers need trimmed to fit and 1/2 of the lugs on the bottom need removed to work with the saddles. I was too impatient to do that and put the stockers back on since I was doing breakin anyhow. The sled IS and feels bigger than the PRO Rs I have been riding but when you approach a bump in the trail you want to floor it every time and these fly so well!

I hear you on the hips. That was my biggest reason for switching to the viper. The seating position is much better. Hoping to ride longer with less pain. Nytro killed my hips.
I guess I am used to long tracks and this one is shorter than what I am used to so it feels heavy.

I had a Nytro XTX and this Viper is way easier to ride! No contest! Lighter steering and feels much lighter. And yes it jumps very good! Easy to throw around. Good in powder.

My bud and i went to Greenland to pick up his new Vector LTX after his Rage had issues. We test drove both the Vector LTX with EPS and the 137" Viper. We were both shocked at how great the steering/handling was on the Viper. Kip ended up selling him an XTX Viper instead of the Vector LTX and I couldn't agree more. Loved the Viper!!! I can't even imagine it with a Turbo!!!
Kip is cool Shi#
