Going to turbo my 15 viper this spring, looking at the AEM or Innovate 2 in 1 gauges , anyone have good or bad luck with these, also looking for a good mounting spot , I have osp's single gauge pod but don't like how it's mounts higher than my short windshield.

The 2 in 1[s are nice but if you lose 1 you throw both away and I have been through 3 boost gauges in 4 yrs. I also found the digital ones are slow to read true boost vs analog. The last one I installed was a basic analog and it showed me the true overboost when letting of after a WOT pull. Plus the 2 are easier to hide below the windshield.

These are mounting cups by auto meter that you can guy at most at parts stores.

I have the AEM 30-4900. I like it. One complaint is that there is no back lighting on the gauge so you need to rely on the programmable colors for AFR.

This was fixed before it was even an issue because I have the hand guard lights and those were put in at the same time as the gauge lol.

For mounting, I got a cheap ebay mount that I am glad I got. It just stickies to the hood and fits behind the low windshield. I can look up the link if you think you'd like to see it but so far the gauge works great. No complaints in general operation. I got a used unit on ebay for $210 and it came w/ O2 sensor and everything needed. I don't use any of the failsafe circuitry that it includes but you could set a warning LED to blink at boost over 5.5 or afr over X AND boost over 5.5 or something similar. Pretty cool piece of technology.
