i saw 4 RX1 mountains and 2 New 05 RS Vector Mountains on the trails saturday. i had 3 guys that got off of 800 RMK's come ask about the RX1. They had me start it up and they were like :shock: when they saw the electric start. They liked the exhaust note. they all kept telling me how nice it was and had me do a real quick wide open run on the ice. There is about 300ft of ice before the groomed trail. my track was spinning all 300ft. once again :shock: that it would spin the track for 300ft. took it out to the trail and opened her up. Spun for about 10 feet and then got grip and i was gone. yet again, :shock:
needless to say, the 2 smokers loved it. they even mentioned how much they hate having to pour oil in every time they ride. I told them ive been getting around 14mpg and once again... you guessed it :shock: was the look on their faces.
The converting process has begun in southern colorado. i even rode with a guy that has an 800 Vertical Escape RMK with a 159 and he said that the 4 stroke is really quiet and he wants to test ride it. Hes a really good rider, and we're going next saturday so we'll see what happens then.

It's a REALLY slow process. I've been riding with all 2-smokers for the past 2 years. First year they just laughed and gave me crap when they had to help me dig out. Last year, after 3k worth of mods, they took notice. When the snow was deep, I was going past them, and coming back to dig them out. This year a committed doo guy (who had to have his sled rebuilt on warranty twice in the past two years) approached me and said if he could find a 2003 RX1 mtn for cheap he'd do all the mods I've done, spend less than a new sled costs, and have the perfect sled he'd be happy to ride for years to come. The ultimate compliment, finally.

i think im going to start blowing money on my RX1. the truck has gotten too much attention. RX1's need lovin too!

I'm sick of hearing it from our 2 stroke friends, this year I have a Vector Mtn and should have a turbo on this week.......wonder what they'll think now?
