I have a couple quick questions. I bought a used 2001 Grizzly.
1. There are 2 small hoses that come out the bottom of the grizzly in the middle of the machine. They look like 2 small air hoses. Any idea what these are used for?
2. Is going through water half way up the wheels a problem with the Grizzly? Or do those air hoses have something to do with not being able to get wet?
3. I had the dealership replace the oil in December properly and now I see I am running a little below the fill mark as of yesterday (March). Normal or is my machine burning too much oil? I am going to add some obviously.
4. Is there any zerks I can periodically grease with a grease gun?
5. Is there a trick at getting at the spark plug to inspect it? Looks like you have to take a couple covers off to get at it?
My machine seems to be running good. There are roughly 3300 miles on it. Just wanted to do some maintenance on it and make sure I know what I am looking at/doing.
Thanks!

Don't worry about the two small hoses they are either vents or overflow lines. Water half way up on the wheels is nothing you can go deeper. Mine an 06 uses a little oil and I don't worry about it I just check it before each ride. I don't recall any zerk fittings on mine and you are right, the spark plug is a bear to get to.

Dont let the water go over the fenders without a snorkel.

Thanks for the replies. One other question...how often should I change the final gear oil and differential gear oil? Once a year? More or less? I see the owners manual says once a year but do others recommend more often? Or doesn't it even need to be changed that often?

Check the color of the oil, if it looks like water has found it way in, then change it more often.
