I guess the '04 R-1 has 180 HP. That would be nice in the RX-1. Anyone hear this happening any time soon. :lol: :lol:

Black Sabbath that would be great if Yamaha put that engine in the Rx1 but your motor has the potential for those numbers now,172hp is what Yamaha claim's and 180hp with the ram air in affect or at speed.You can easily gut the tool box drill holes in the top lid draw cool air from the slits in the front of your hood and direct them down through the tool box and directly to the snorkel at the bottom of the airbox.I had bought 137.5 jetting but never used it because of the cooler charge of air I get from the front of the sled allows me to use the stock jetting more efficently if anything this motor needs more air and more fuel.I am completely stock and managed to beat quite a few sleds last year modded sx700,srx00/01,modded and stock mach z's,zrt 800,2 f7's,all races were 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile.
