does anybody have pic how to modify the air box, and what i need for jets, and stuff on clutching, i have a m10 suspension in it thanks

is one way to do it. this is how we did my brothers 04 rx war modded to 151" track. did not change the clutching on it but we had already re clutched for the longer track. when we did the intake mod. should be a bunch of old posts on how people clutched for this mod back in the day. tried modded air box 1st and liked this better.

X2 on what maim said as I still run Freddie's*/ECP (*RIP) kit on my 03 RX-1. With the K&N filters, you also had to run lighter CV slide springs and a larger main jet (165). Although I never did the air box mod on the RX-1, did do it on both the newer Apex's though, I believe the K&N filters really help that motor breath more so than the air box mode. It's my understanding that the reason for having to run the larger jet and lighter spring was to compensate for the loss of vacuum by not running the stock air box. Freddie was also a firm believer of sync'ing the carbs after adding his kit which would be something you will want to consider. As for clutching, I was in the same boat as maim as I had already clutched the RX-1 prior to adding the ECP kit but do recall having to make some changes to the clutch weights to hit the target RPM (10,200-10,300) thru out the power band.

Just sifted thru my old notes and found this. Can't honestly say this is my current configuration (afraid I may have deviated from this to achieve target RPM and may not have updated my notes) but don't recall ever changing it after adding the ECP kit. Hopefully, it will at least provide you with a starting point:

K&N Filter part number = RU-2922
Pre charger = 20-1251

Heavy Hitters with stock primary spring. 52/44 helix with Yamaha White secondary spring.

HH Setup
3/4 allen in heel
3/8 Steel bolt in tip with 2 washers
7/16 Steel bolt with no washers in middle hole

Something I forgot to mention since you were inquiring about a Warrior was that I have an AD Boivin Expert-X suspension extended to a 136" in my RX-1.

what for jetting thanks

If you're doing the K&N filter mod and not the air box, the main jets need to be replaced with a 165's as well as the CV slide springs need to be swapped out with green or silver springs. I have both but am not sure which ones I'm using.

the springs need to be changed for the modded air box as well.

i see ulmers still has kit but it doesnt show the springs and they have clutch kit too what do you think thanks

Can't say enough good things about Ulmer Racing (@Srxspec) as I run his clutch kits in all of my sleds except the RX-1 and have had great success with them. With the RX-1, I tried to roll my own and used this forum to help get me the right pieces in place to where it is now but took lots of trial and error with tuning and decided the next time around, I would go with a complete package from one of the TY vendors and have been dealing with Allen ever since. ;)!
