Why don't you canada guys come to the states?
Jason...we have every type of riding available with very minimal traffic & absolutely no speed limits or noise enforcement. I can go from awesome trails to waist deep powder & back again & not see hardly any other sleds! LRacer..we will hook up. I got a cottage at Riding mountain park & that place has wicked powder & boondocking but you gotta know the area!!!
to bad it's 20 hours from me. It's alright for the Wisconson guys but the michigan and New york guys can just forget about it.
I'd be interested in a Ontario Ride.

Hey jtssrx, I'm from mid Michigan and I'm going. My group normaly take a 7-10 day vacation in the winter to go sleding somewhere. The last few years we have been to Wyoming, went 2 times last year. We are always looking into somthing differant and this sounded cool. The 1st part of the trip Brian is going to hook us up, then the next week Turk is going to try and hooks up with some riding in the western part of Manitoba

I can't take 7 days to go sledding. But that's what you need for this trip!!
Have fun!!!!

So are the rides still on? Are the dates and areas set? Count me in, I can be there by sled in one day to the Whiteshell. Lac Du Bonnet will take two.
Iv'e been through the Whiteshell, Pine Falls, Bird Lake area. Nice trails, no wait awesome trails. Clubs do a fantastic job. This year I'm going to buy a year pass instead of 4 day ones. I want to spend more time riding Northeastern Man.

Sasquach - I'm doing the MB ride (easy when you're from MB...). If you want to come up from the Angle and stay at my cabin overnight, we can ride together and meet up with the group the next day... I'll keep in touch with you about heading down to the Angle for a 2-3 day trip.

Let me know when so I can plan. Good thing we're all riding Yammers so we can have fun and not be broke down half the time or have to plant fuel all over the cutlines......

Hey great! If the Kenora trails are open I'll be coming through Kenora way. You have a cabin at Falcon Lake Right! Mid Feb is when we do our anual run so there might be a conflict on the MB ride ( I hope not ) Angle trip in March should be no prob. Keep in touch.
I have a Garmin GPS track of my last trip into Manitoba if anyone is interested.

I went riding in the Turtle Mountain area of ND and into Manitoba a few winters ago. It was a good time, and I would not mind going back if there wasn't any snow around here. I'd have to go over my spring break though, because just going up there for a weekend wouldn't be wise, as I'm quite a ways away.
