I just bought a complete set of Ohlins w/very low miles for my 2005 RX-1 ER LE that came off a 2003 RX-1. I would like to know what mods need to be done to make these fit especially in the rear skid because of the monoshock? I'm assuming I won't be able to use my adjuster on the tunnel. Any insight, pics, or experiences with this would be great. Thanks

Did the 03 Rx-1 have a monoshock in it? If it is the ec ohlins found in the monoshock then you wont be able to adjust the compression electronically unless you buy the controller in the yamaha catalogue. Rebound adjustment is just a manual knob at the end of the shock. Just disconnect your ra tunnel adjuster.

The skid these came out of was the standard 121 2003. No mono shock skid. Could they be retrofitted to work in the 2005 mono skid?

Sounds like you have the front and rear shock and spring out of a proaction suspension. Don't think these will work in the mono as it only uses the one shock. Maybe try the bigger rear shock out of the proaction and compare to your mono shock out of your 05.

fronts will work fine. rears probably will not fit as they are out of a proaction. you could compare and try as jrock suggested.

if they do not work, give me a pm as i think i have a home for them.
