Just did 104mph (GPS) in a 1/4 mile yesterday on very slippery conditions...powder snow on hard ice with just an ice ripper track. About 30 sleds there and the only ones faster were two 2011 XP E-Techs that were studded. One did 106mph, the other, a long tract, went 111. There was also a worked and studded 1000 Cat Sno Pro that did 109. My sled, although very well maintained is going on its 7th winter with about 9,000 miles. Not bad for old school. Plus I am 6'3" 280lbs. It has a Bender Clutch kit, K&N intake kit and 165 jets. Clutch kit is a must on these as they are just mush from the factory. Just the clutch will put a big smile on your face. Ulmer has great stuff too. Hope it helps

Rx1 wheel updates
Check out www.schmidtbrosmotorsports.com They do the cold air box mods and rejetting. I have an 05' Rx1 with about 2300 miles on it. I didnt have the air box mods done but I had them install about 4-6 more boggie wheels underneath the suspension where they need to be. 2 in the front arch rail. 1 to complete the 4 in the back axle. 1 on each side in the rear 2 inches ahead of the back axle and a few in between. Theese wheels will cause you to do a lil re clutching which he does before you get it back. Your not dragging your slides anymore, everything is free'd up and that alone is about 5 hp. Im throughly impressed.
