Just talking to a dealer here in Canada.

They are saying that the 2005 RX1's in Canada are almost gone.

I thought it might be a sales strategy...so I called another dealer....he said that someone came and bought all of his RX1's!!

Amazing since 2003 and 2004 had many non-current's available!!

That is why 05s are scarce the dealers don't want to get stuck with a bunch again . There are still a few in Winnipeg .

My dealer just sold his 8th and final one today. I was there as they loaded it up. That matt black really looks mean.

Seems to be true

My source says Yamaha Canada is sold out of 05 RX and Venture models, there are a few left at dealers but they won't sell them to other dealers (yet), also said that Yamaha intentionally did not order any additional units than pre-orders, that tells me that there may be something new coming down :o

my dealer has 3 05's. RS Rage with the 05 Mountain Skis, an RS Vector Mountain, and an RS Venture

I really don't think dealers ordered many in excess of their spring orders as they had so many non-currents to sell.

talked to four of my Yamaha dealers yesterday, no RX-1's in Ontario, couple of dealers had to drive to Quebec to get some but now Quebec may be out. Yamaha wants a clean slate for 06. Read between the lines, Yamaha is not a company that does anything lightly, there are still some 03 & 04 product out there that are available virtually at cost. But with the limited build for the 05 models and how well they sold, should indicate some new models for 06 as we have been hearing.

my dealer here in northern ny is out of 05 rx1s also, he said this year was the most spring orders of them hes had since they came out

i know that my dealership in the poconos(pennslyvania), name is rusty palmers on rt6,honesdale pa......has alot of vectors and rages...also has some rx1's left.

Biggest Yammie dealer in the Lakes Regions, NH, is out of RX1s. Reckons they sold way better than expectations. He had to source the last one sold from another dealer.
