Hey guys getting tired of getting beat up by my stock Pro action. Anybody ever put a newer Apex or Vector 136" skid in a Warrior? Or any other suggestions on what to do. Last year I had the skid out and machined bronze Oilite bushings to replace all of the junk plastic bushings. Welded up and reinforced the W arm also. I like the sled but it feels like I'm riding my old 97 ZRT Arctic Cat still! I do need to check the shock condition. Are they rebuildable? It doesn't seem to sit up like other sleds and when I get on it I feel like I only have about 6" of suspension left. Thanks any tips would be appreciated.

- Which one? I have 6
You can change out the skid. Make sure the mounting points are the same as the donor sled.

I think that may be the way to go bigdogrx1 cuz the arms and everything looks beefier. I didn't realize the pro action had been around that long, since the late 90's I guess. Time to leap into the future! Thanks

05warriorle its day and night different, you can pick a good mono skid for about $400. If ya live very close to me I'd be glad to help you swap them, I even have mounting plate, just got back from U.P. at cabins was 25 sleds mine being the oldest, and guess which sled got the most looks and questions, OH and not 1 sled wanted to challenge the antiques top end speed, its like you bought a new sled, LarryI think that may be the way to go bigdogrx1 cuz the arms and everything looks beefier. Yeah I did get those SG1 handguards and I like them. I almost got the Skinz Pro series handguards and I had hard time deciding which one to go with. I almost wonder if the Skinz would've offered better wind protection, but I always second guess myself when I have a hard time deciding which one to go with. Overall the SG1's work well and they stay in position to.

I hope you like them !! They do help in the cold. There is give in them to so they shouldn't break if you roll over or hit something with them.
