I just put a ram air kit on my apex rtx and was wondering do I have to put a performance chip on it for more fuel? I know if you put an after market exhaust on you do but I didn't know about just a ram air box. thanks
in my case once i did the airbox mod there was no need to do anything as far as chip the computer adjusted fine and that was 5000 miles ago

I agree. You should be fine with the airbox mod and no chip.
