Does anyone know the wire color for the tach at the gauge cluster on a 2006 apex er. I am going to put a remote start on my pops' apex for christmas, and all I need is the tach wire. And before anyone posts any negative comments on the subject, I have been a 12 volt installer for 6 years and know how these things work. And yes no one needs a remote start but then again no one needs to climb Mt. Everest but people do, and besides its a gift.

I just installed the huack remote starter. Its just tells you which color wires to tap into not what they are for. The wiring diagram in the back of the manual should tell you which colour the wire is for the tach. The Hauck starter works awesome. Very easy to install.
I looked at the wiring diagram in the owners manual and I couldnt find anything labeled insrument cluster or gauges, does anyone know which number its labeled as? Its not a big deal either way as I can go to a coil wire or a fuel injector wire for a tach signal, but if anyone knows the wire color at the cluster or what the cluster is labeled at in the owners manual that would be appreciated-thanks.

according to my manual the common wire to the tach is blue/white
and the feed to it is yellow/black

Did you ever find which wire to the cluster is the Tach? I'm trying to hook up a data logger and haven't found it yet. Looks like it was the Yellow/black on Rx-1's but there isn't even a yellow/black on an Apex. I've got the schematic and the only one that goes back to the ECU is the Blue/yellow and that didn't work
