I put a 136" track on my nytro and whenever Im messing around jumping drifts the track will hit where the sno-flap was mounted when it was a 121". I was thinking about dropping down the rear suspension bolts to get more clerance. I would apreicate any one input. Thanks

You need a tunnel extension. By dropping the suspension, you will make an already tippy sled unstable.

Well do you not own a die grinder? cut what is hitting out of the way. I would assume you would need to with the extention.

Any suspension/track will eventually hit, given enough input.

You can add/extend tunnel protectors that go all the way to the rear.

If you don't add the protectors, you will have to move the coolant crossover pipe, or you will likely rip that out eventually.

Hope this helps!

Hey S-n-G groomerman,...I would agree with rock,
I looked at the Rage and the crossover tube is at the 121" position, but it is tucked up high so the bottom of the tube is slightly higher than the bottom of the muffler.
So the full length tunnel protectors mount over the top.
Where are your tunnel protectors?
You could get a set for the Rage or Warrior, cut off the old tunnel back and raise the coolant tube up if need be.

My Vector did the same thing with a 136 M-10. It was hitting on the cast section of tunnel next to the coolent tube. I cut the tunnel down enough to still protect the tube but not hit on the track. Works so far. My track was a 1.5" paddle.

I also stretched my Nytro out to 136 this off-season, and I now have a couple of questions. I'd like to use the space on the tunnel extension for storage, but the exhaust is a problem. What is the best way to take care of that? I'm also wondering if I should install a rear heat exchanger. When I put an M-10 in my Viper, I had an issue with overheating so I put in the rear exchanger. It helped, but I always had a problem on really cold mornings when the trails were very hard. I'm thinking that I might have the same problem now. Where is the best place to get a rear exchanger? Should I put it all the way back in the extension, or should I put it were it would normally go? Thanks in advance!!

Come on snow!!!
