i dont understand the problem everyone is having, i bought my sled at moosehead motorsports, yesterday iturned 1200 mi and my slides look like new and none of my wheels are falling apart. i ride hard and fast and jump alot off moguls the only problem i had was i bent my right side a arms coming up over a lip of snow on a bridge.
I lost my first wheel at 1800 miles, and at 2400 miles I am still on my first set of slides. In regards to the slides, I think a lot of people are jumping the gun on replacing them. Like someone else on here said, mine wore alot in the first couple hundred miles, but have since seemed to wear very little.bluemissile said:

Thanks for the heads up Cruizin. I'm actually having my shocks rebuilt tonight, so while I have the skid out I'm going to go through it, change my slides and get a good look at all my wheels and bearings.

A-Z Tech in Clinton (453-6327). I think he get's about $100 per shock if he has to remove them from the sled, less if you bring him the shocks. He's a friend of mine, so he treats me decent. He also revalved mine and it seems to have made a big difference. I'll know better after this weekend. Regarding my slides, they were only about 60% worn and very even with only slightly more wear towards the back. I was very surprised, but I think it's probably due to the fact that all the miles I've put on the sled have come in very good snow conditions.Cruizin said:
