2006 Vector 1000 electrical peoblem

Hi guys, my Yamaha Vector 2006 1000cc. I tried to start it and the dashboard does not seem to get any power, nor does the headlights or anything else. It is however cranking when I try to start it. Need some troubleshooting advice from anyone that has seen this. Thanks!

the dash doesn't light up/work on the carb sleds until the engine is running. same with headlamp.

i would pull the plugs and check for spark 1st. if it has sat for longer than 2 months without running, you might need to re fill the float bowls by lightly pressurizing the gas tank vent tube.
