hope you all can help out my venture has 13000 miles the stator went on me middle of last season .changed out the stator, got a stator from ricks stators.sled ran great about 100 miles into trip stopped for a break then sled would not start again, turned over fine no spark.towed back to truck started back up long enough to load onto trailer. wouldn't start all summer. brought to local dealer and of course they got it started and found nothing wrong with it. I brought it back home and tried to start all week , then last Friday night I went to start it and no spark. im told it could be 1 of 2 things by my dealer , the cdi box or the trigger coil, before I go throwing parts at it id like to see what kinda feed back I get from here, not from my dealer at 65 bucks an hour.

I found a used oem stator from a wrecked 09 venture with 300 miles for half price installed it and now runs perfect, I was kinda leaning that was the problem, lesson learned ,don't use an aftermarket stator

Did you have to raise the motor up some to replace the stator?? Just checked mine and its shot. Ordered a new OEM.
