I have a 2007 apex and I'm installing a boondocker nitros kit.I want to go with the five hole nozzles.Does anyone know a good starting point for the nos/fuel setting on the control box for sea level in minnesota? And is there some fuel settings that will increase the performance on the motor only at differant rpms? I know that settings will very and will have to be adjusted.

If you are using an "unregulated" system where you only have one setting for your nitrous you will want to set it for 10 numbers higher than your HP shot. In other words, if you are running your 2 - 5 hole nozzles (50 HP) set your nitrous adjustment number to 60 or 62.

If you are using the nitrous regulator and/or you are using the advanced setting where you have to set high and low nitrous seetings then I think you need to set them at 22 for low and 44 for high. Kyle at Boondocker or anyone else there will help you.

As far as fuel goes for non-nitrous use, I would leave it stock except for at the top RPM level (10,500 i think). For that rpm level you might want to set it at about -2 low, -3 mid, and -4 high. The stock fuel mapping is a bit rich at the higher rpm levels. You can get away with setting the middle rpm's slightly negative like -1 or -2 at the most but stock fuel mapping is only very slightly rich in the mid rpm range. Don't make any changes at the 3000 rpm range. It is really sensative and won't idle very good if you screw around with that.
