Hey, does anyone have experience with rollover sleds. I bought it back from insurance company, some where in its travels it lost the gauge cluster. It fires right up, hunts for idle for about 5 seconds and stalls, it will fire right back up again and do the same thing over and over. does it need the gauge cluster to run, or is there probably a sensor or wire broke or off. Over all the sled is ok, needs risor and bars, the gauge cluster, pod, headlight, windshield, prob some misc stuff. Thanks

low oil pressure shut off.... when the sled rolls, it can dump the oil and cause air lock... tilt sled with oil tank down... at a 45 angle or more.... leave for a bit... then try to start.. chances you have a code 30 i think... it will shut sled off.

I would start by installing a new gauge cluster. Then go from there you need to know what codes it giving. Code 30 will reset itself and I'm pretty sure your sled has probably been upright for awhile now.

Just run it! It will clear it self out but it takes more than idle. If you have no oil pressure it will not let it run. mine did that once from wheeling over a bump at a road crossing. A friend rolled his and it did the same thing, Just start it and take off.

It does sounds like low oil pressure. Check oil level, if good do like said above. Gauge is good to have to know what code is showing.

thanks guys, I checked, oil is low. it has been sitting upright for prob two or three weeks, but no gauge. I am going to get some oil monday and fill it just to see what that does. I am sure it has oil pressure, no noises from engine at all. next step will be a gauge. do you count the flashes to see what code? thanks

By the way paid $2000.00 for it. Does that seem high? I always get buyers remorse like a week after I buy something and keep thinking I shouldnt have bought it. oh well. Later
