Yes I do use the cable style , they helped with the slides, I'm not sure about the overheating. I ended up putting a rear cooler in.Awesome! Do you also have cable style? Did you have previous overheating issues and the scratchers solved them?
I appreciate the feedback. I am hoping to not have to install a rear cooler until the off season if I had to.

Looks like the consensus is to put the rear cooler in. I took a quick look underneath and it looks like ill have to cut a small section of the protectors out to fit the cooler. Seems like a pretty straight forward install to me?

It is,there's a sticky on rear coolers in FAQ section. That's how I did mine.
Rear cooler are a must imo.
This is what I did to mine.

I took it a bit further than most. I raised the tunnel ext to help keep the studs away from the exchanger.
There was a thread years ago where someone mounted an exchanger on top of the tunnel ext. Looked like a real good idea. I would of done mine that way if I knew how to tig.

travis at Barn of parts has a good priced nice rear cooler for your sled. strange I thought the Attack came with a rear cooler. I never had one I had the apex gt. scratchers will help lower temps and will prolly be enough for this season I ran my 07 for years in all snow types and when the light came on i would hit the powder or stop and put snow on the floor boards as long as you do one of the two when the light comes on you will be fine.

Ordered the rear cooler...should be in tomorrow. In the mean time I installed the scratchers, will try them out this weekend. Definitely will be adding the eye hooks as they are already scratching up my rail
