2007 Nytro
I have a 2007 Nytro. The handling is terrible. I usually ride my home trails that are tight and don't get groomed very much. Its so bad that I recently bought a 2004 Polaris XCSP for riding around here and save the Nytro for the flat groomed trails in the Adirondacks. I noticed that both Limiter straps where broke on my Nytro. I am going to replace them and try to fix the handling on the sled any help would be great. I am not a ditch banger. Just looking for a comfortable ride.

Definitely replace those limiter straps as they directly effect ski pressure and handling , from there perhaps a little ski toe out or different skis may be in order.

Need to replace the straps, to the get the suspension balance right, then if it still has the stock skis, those could go to.

Fix limiters as said, but honestly don't feel a 04 Polaris should ride much different than the rx nytro. I would check with a company like hygear to get shocks rebuilt maybe revalved. I'm sure they are dead at this point probably. Also make sure you have preload on shocks set properly for your weight, toe out is important. Check make sure that the suspension bushings aren't worn out and have play in suspension parts, also make sure you have good grease on all greaseable spots. Free moving parts with no play will promote best performance. Skis also left a lot to be desired. Version 1 of tuners promoted a stable straight riding sled but very unagressive for handling. Idk about newer versions with their deeper keel.

Is it the rtx with the air shocks or does it have coilovers?

Has the Fox air shocks. My wife has a 2004 XCSP 500 w/ M10 to be honest the ride on that is a lot better then my Nytro. That's why I picked up that 04 XCSP 700.

Definitely replace the straps but you Might get more ideas in the RS forum , the FX Nytro is a completely different Sled than the 07
