So your shock is ok but you need to get your welding gear out and working? Add some metal there while your at it.

Yeah the shock is ok. I'm going to get the replacement beefier part on warranty.
I still want to upgrade all my shocks, but I have more time to do so now, if I don't have them for the trip, that's ok since the shocks aren't blown.

I have both of these sleds a 2009 mtn phazer and a skidoo renegade with the sc4 suspension. I am going to try to swap the shocks and check out the fit. also I contacted Ian at monster performance and hes willing to give it a try and come up with a shock and valving answer to get this rear suspension up to par. I'm psyched cause i'm bottoming all over on the phazer but I love the sled. I'll come up with a new thread when this experiment is completed! wish me luck. Sorry if i'm hijacking this thread. BillIke said:Allan, like I told you, Ski-Doo REV SC 4 rear shocks fit the Mountain Lite skid (438 mm long). We have put to big 46 mm KYB shocks to RS Vector mountains here. nice adjustable (compression high-low speed clikers) and durable shocks.
Some of you might know the WP shocks. Here is a PDF link to our distributor here. Theese shocks have some nice features and they last long and can take some serious abuse.

My dealer told me that EURO spec rebuildable Yamaha rear shock to Mountain Lite is listed 360€ (542.88 USD / 570.46 CAN).

Not at all! I'm not in a real rush now like originally thought, so i'd love to see your findings on the shock swap and Ian's creation. Keep us posted!

I forget, but I looked into it and either they didn't have what I needed or I wasn't happy with the offering.

The 09+ come with KYB HPG shocks from the factory, non rebuildable, but HPG none the less.katahdinaukee said:Does Kimpex make a nitrogen gas shock for mtn lite? Kimpex gold?
