Does anyone know if an 08 or newer rear shock will work in an 07 VK Pro? Mine is toast and am having a hard time sourcing a replacement..

the aux hd spring fits from 2006-2012 according to the reverse parts look up. looking a lot like a pro action set up with a hydraulic shock. anyone around you with an sxr, sx venom, rx1, sx viper or 2000 and up sx venture to measure and compare the shock?

I did find an older thread where they mentioned an SX Viper shock will fit, so that is an option (they did have it re-valved though).
Riding in 20 below temps did it in last weekend (and my starter relay).
