- 2007 Apex RTX
2009 Nytro XTX
I am going to be adding a 2" riser to my 07" RTX.
After doing a bunch of searching in this forum, I have found that in the 2007 era the "standard" Apex models had a 4" riser, the RTX had a 6" riser and the MTX had an 8" riser. I also found that the riser could be extended by a max of 2 more inches without needing to buy longer throttle cables and brake lines. So my question is... what model is the 2" max extension based on?
Since the RTX riser is 2" taller than the "standard" Apex model, does that mean I will need to extend my cables since the bars have technically already been raised 2" above "stock" by due to the taller RTX riser?
