Hi all i need a bit of help. I bought the above sled over the summer and Hemihead has asked questions about a donut problem. After talking to the previous owner again today, he said that he thought the "rattling" was coming from a heat shield vibrating. What do you guys think? If it is a possibility, how do I fix it. Thanks in advance!

Either way, you're tearing the seat, tank, and other smaller items off to get at it. Might as well replace the donuts.

Chances are its the doughnuts they sound like a rattling heat shield loose bolt, ect, start the sled cover exhaust with rag you will hear it at the back of the motor should get louder.

Ummm... yea, the donuts are shot.
Depending on how long the previous owner ran it that way, the headers may be cracked too, and that's an expensive fix.
