Ok, so I have a 2008 Apex seat pan with a wrp seat on it and I'm having difficulty getting good it installed on the 12 vector. I have done a million seat installs and it seams like the seat hooks aren't low enough to hook the gas tank. Anyone else run into this?

Ok. I'll leave this post up for science. Looks like the Apex and Vector seat pans are different. not quite sure why they changed but they are definitely different. I put the vector seat on an Apex and it looks ok but is sloppy as hell. Looks like this applies to 12 and up vectors.

Eps sleds have a different gas tank. Tank is taller in back so seat pan changed.

Subtle changes from Deltabox 2 vs 3. That's your problem.

When I installed a WRP seat on my 14 Vector I had to carve out the foam in the bottom of the seat so that it would fit over the gas tank "bubble". WRP told me that I was going to have to do this.
Maybe my thread here will help? http://ty4stroke.com/threads/wrp-2-seat-install-on-a-2014-vector-ltx.140368/

Good to know. I'm planning on grabbing another kit.

WRP will do the "carving out" of the seat and seat cover install for no charge if you send them your seat pan and cover. If I was doing it all over again, I'd spend the shipping cost $$ and send the stuff to them and let them do it.
