has anyone had a problem with the inner idler wheels getting tore up it looks like the suspension arm may be hitting them during suspension travel??

Yes, I have replaced both inside lower wheels, (Rubber missing chunks) on my 2010 and both bearings on upper guide wheels. I always carry a spare with me just in case.
