I met a new riding buddy last week and come to find out he has an 06 Apex RTX,We are friends and and we both want to line them up. Do I have any sort of chance? His sled has 1000 miles on it mine has 200 miles on it and we are about the same weight. Mine has 144 studs and everything else is stock and he does not have studs and is all stock. Do I have a chance? :4STroke:

Should be alot closer.. depends on who gets the hole shot..

I know those nytros are very quick from a dead stop..

Yes,I know it too. =) Hahaha,But should be a good race and any way you look at it a Yamaha wins!

I know one thing.. Top end the Nytro is no match for the apex..

We going down a rail road bed and a guy on a nytro in front of us had it to the bar,, we still had some throttle left..

We were right on his butt, and he kept looking back to see if he was pulling away..

No doubt, the Nytro is not a top end sled. But from what I hear from many people that the Nytro will give the Apex everything it can handle and more in 660ft or less. As well as in the trails,Once you enter the rough trails the Nytro shows what it was made for and leaves the Apex. Not a diss a fact,I did it many of times.

Really, because i see alot of post of people complaining of ski lift and ill handling sleds..

My apex really rails pretty good..

When it comes to trail riding / racing, it's all in the setup & rider abilities, not the sled. If a guy can't set his sled up right or he's a ricky racer wannabe then anything will beat it. Lots of guys brag about going straight & fast. But when they have to turn left or right they're screwed. LOL

Yea,Really. like I said ive seen it and done it,Once the trails get rough the Nytro really shines over the Apex.

Thats awsome.... I havent rode one,, but really want to..

Hopefully my apex will wear out soon, and i will have to get one..

Hahaha,I dont think your Apex is going to wear out anytime soon. The Nytro is a very nice sled, I love mine. Ive always wanted to ride an Apex and never got so lucky.
