Substandard frames are feable for 08-09 haven't tried a 2k10 or 2k11 yet hope they last more than 1500 trail miles...

mine is bent alittle but i crossed rr at 30mph bent just 1/2 inch ajusted ski toe been fine all year i don't worry about it i ride the sh## out of it . I've bent alot of trailing arms to most of the time pulling mount off to warr. didn't cover them either one was a pol and one was a yam . I think most of the things they talk about are blown out to , they are great sleds any sled u ride u adjust to your liken

subframes were coming bent/tweaked from factory. I took mine to the dealer one time, they ordered me a new 09 subframe and installed it under warranty. I have to say they did look it over and found no damage.

oh and if you want warm hands you will need a yamahaheater kit

Mine was also welded wrong from the factory, Yamaha put in a new 09 subframe, no questions. Mine had 600 miles on it at the time, no damage, just welded in the jig wrong.......

My son's sled is awesome with no problems! He rides very aggressive, ditch bangs and races. Maybe we have been lucky? 2000 strong miles so far.....

I would much rather change my front end then deal with engine issues of the yellow sled. FWIW I have an 09xtx 1800 miles no problems yet. I would trust a rebuilt front end before a rebuilt 2stroke 140miles from camp.
