2008 sled names? possible proof!

I just checked some trademark names that Yamaha has filed through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Here are some that caught my eye: FXNYTRO, FXRACER, M-TX, R-TX, L-TX, FX-1, FX130

I found it here:

click on "SEARCH" in the right side column near the top of the page and not the search at the top of the page. Click on "Free form search" and on the next page type in "yamaha" and submit. You'll get a listing of trademark names filed by Yamaha.

A sign of things to come?

They may not be the official names, but it does look like the Nytro may be switching over to the Phazer's chassis and a 130 horspower sled is in the works.

Perhaps (a guess) the M-TX, R-TX, L-TX could possibly be different suspension names, ie Mountain, Rough trail, Luxury?

Yeah, the othernight, after reading the "rumors" post, I started a nasty little argument over a sled that doesn't even exist yet. Oops!

I also looked into the Exciter name. The trademarked name has expired.

Wonder if the Viking would be a new Venture?? Still says RS, so 120 hp.

Do you suppose that the 130 is turbo Phazer or a 10HP boost through EFI in the 973 motor?
