Currently have an 08 Nytro and I am looking at buying a new 2008 Vector GT 40th Anniversary edition. Anyone ever ridden one and like to comment? I am a high mileage rider and tend to stick to the groomed trails and lakes.

Well, it may not be completely wrong,if your looking to compare a Nytro to a Vector.
I don't have a ton of time on a Nytro but I do on my Apex which other than the motor is essentialy the same. Seating positon is much more relaxed. If you felt a little to "over the nose" on your Nytro then you would likely preffer the Vector. The mono is maybe the most plush suspension out there, but if it gets nasty, well you'll probably wish you still had the Nytro. I think the 08' mono are much better then the 06's as far as valving but don't kid yourself, you won't be able to pound the Vector to death on 2ft studders. Fuel mileage and the larger tank will give you unbelieveable range. The 04' Vector in our group sips gas like it was $4.50 a gallon, wait it is. If you preffer cruising or smooth trailing and occasionally tearing it up, the Vector is probably a good choice. It will be a little warmer as your not quite as exposed, but more so than the older model. There is more storage on the Vector since is does have a trunk and belt holder on the clutch gaurd, which gives you full use of the nose cone bag. The only real down fall of the Vector is that it is carbed so start ups will require a little more thought. From what i've herd and seen not a huge deal they seem to start fine, just need to read up on choke useage.
Ultimately it comes down to how and where you ride. If you can give some insight on that it will help. Also rider weight will play a large roll in capability. Me well look at my sig. I'm going to a Nytro but I'm not into top speed, I like to ride the nasty stuff, and I think I could sit on the front bumper and not feel forward enough, so it wasn't a difficult choice.
