In loose snow as stated above you can turn the skis all you want and the sleds will NOT turn... This is not only a Yamaha but my pre rev ski doos, my Polaris.
As soon as its deep enough to be loose it is all about getting the weight over the front inside ski and lean, ie lay the sled over then they all turn like a jet ski.
Boy would I love to have that snow here in MN.
