Ask if the shocks have ever been recharged/redone, if not ask to bring down price, check all fluids to see how clear they are are (chain case and main oil res.). That will give you an indication as to how well it was maintained. To change fluids on the fox shox is easy, recharge with gas a bit more involved. You also want to look closely at the front skid shock for small cracks as they have a weak spot and are known to blow.
