Instead of scrolling through the endless pages of threads I was hoping some of you could share with me what the best performance upgrades you have done to your sled. I'm looking to squeeze some more ponies out of my carbed 120.

Clutch it! Put exhaust on it! Great start right there!

hartman super charger

I inquired with Tom Hartman last summer about superchargers, and he said they are no longer available for the Vectors.

Will the 1050cc cams fit the 973cc? The Vectors did not have the 1050cc engine until 2010.

NSJK, is the sled in your avatar the 151" it says in your sig?
It doesn't look that long to me but I am guessing I am wrong?

Any larger pics of it other than your avatar?

Thanks, and sorry for hijacking ;)!

Yes, the sled in my avatar is the sled mentioned in my signature. It is a 151 track. It's a bad picture uploaded from my phone, then compressed down to fit the 165 x 165 max pixel that TY allows.

I spent two summers making changes and ended up with this.

Great looking sled NSJK! You can definitely tell you put some time and effort into it ;)!

It looks like you have raised your seat some, looking to do the same to my Vector so can you share any info on all what you did to it?

Thanks and sorry for being a pest!

I sent my seat to a shop in Minnesota and had it modified. This shop makes custom seat foam and custom taylored covers to fit. My particular seat is 4" or about 100mm higher than stock. The seat use to have a red stripe down each side to match the original red A-arms. That's all gone now, along with the ulgy lightning bolt decals on the hood and windshield.

Why did I do this? My knees hurt from the lower seat and I'm not 21 anymore!
