2009 with code 12

my uncles 2009 nytro when he turns on the key the sled shows code 12 he had a sled start on but i just took the sled start off and it is still showing code 12 i checked all the fuses and all of them are fine. anyone know where to start to try to fix the problem

12 is the crankshaft position sensor.

Does the sled start installation have anything to do with the crankshaft position sensor? If so I would bet it is just unplugged.

The sled start is completely removed and it still has the code. Any idea where the sensor is??
