code 12

so my sled has sat for a bit and wouldn't fire-after it has run this year. Thought it was my battery (original since 2009 with 11,000 miles) so I bought a new one

put in new battery, sled still wouldn't fire-barrely would turn over. Tried jumping it across the starter solenoid still no fire. After cracking in for a bit, a code 12 showed up

so, i took the solenoid out of my brothers running same year nytro and still won't go. I noticed I have a little bit of corrsion on the contacts- could the contacts on the connectors on the sled end be dirty? and giving me a code 12?

ANything I should look for or do?

thanks but I think my started is done………..anyone have a step by step to remove the starter? I've seen the motor tilt trick, just some people say you need to remove the rad and stuff but just looking at it, I don't think I would need to do that

any threads would be great thanks

Thanks for link....got the starter out in an hour and a bit (or two beers)

3 out of the 4 magnates let go and brushs were wore out.....
