Does the 2012 xtx rear suspension ride different than the 09 model, i see the rear shock has been updated and the rear torsion springs ride higher on rails than 09, does this help the sag issue???

From what I've heard, they beefed up the rear shock starting on the 2011 sleds. If you're trying to decide between two sleds, go for the 2012.

What's the dry weight difference between the two years. Or the 2013 xtx

You can do the 2011 update to a 2009 sled. Cost me less than $100.
The only other change (supposedly) was they lowered the wheels a bit, but I have the same hyfax on my 2009 sled since 3700km ago and they are not even past 1/2 way. Just add a few wheels in the proper spots. Or you can get the X-wheels everyone speaks about for a few hundred.

If it did it was very minimal. Even the hygear style spacers didn't work for me. Ended up getting the star suspension XTX kit and boom, sag gone, and nice and plush suspension. No regrets best $300 spent.
