Does anyone out there rent boosted or s/c'd sleds?

Now That would be an expensive day!!!! LOL,LOL

Yeah probably want to have some fat insurance before you touch off a 350 hp "rented" sled. Just curious.

cooke city motorsports rents an Apex with an Alpine turbo on it...

If you think it looks steep on film you need to BE THERTE to appreciate how steep it actually is. The camera never does it justice.

Some of the bunny slopes we ride here in Maine kick my a$$, I can only imagine a mountain where it is literally do or die.

There's nothing like a crowd and testosterone to get the party started! The bigger the crowd the more your nuts swell. Each guy trys to out do the other making each attempt knarlier than the last. :die

Makes for great viewing and strong hearts (the adrenaline rush would burst a weak one). :-o

After spending a week out west last winter in Golden BC there is no need to rent a turbo or SC anything to a flat lander. You can get yourself into more then enough trouble with a stock sled we all rode 154" Summit 800 XP's and had the time of our lives out there. Spring snow conditions you can pull some awfully big climbs big enough that when you go full zoom on your digital sony cam the guys at the bottom are pixels!

You guys must have some really good jobs to trash turbo sleds like that.
Pretty hard to watch but not my money.
I would love to ride in the mtn but just couldn't watch my sled roll down a mtn.

Most of these guys do not have big$ jobs....they just make life choices to pour all cash into these sleds...and some aftermarket guys help them out with stuff at cost of slightly below cost...very few are sponsored and VERY few have big$ jobs...

just their life!!

sled rollign down powder hill, will cause damage but not as much as one might think...if it starts flipping..then stuff breaks and costs $$$
