2010 Apex vs. 2010 Apex with G-Force Yamacharger VIDEO

In those type of conditions it really takes alot for the 121 to stay with let alone pass the 136.

I have an RTX with all of Ulmers goodies minus the air box. PC3, Ignition, clutching etc 240 trail studs

Wife has stock Apex LTX GT. Bone stock studded.

Yesterday on our lake with a few inches of snow. She would just smoke me out of the hole because of the extra track. Would take a LONG time for me to catch her. Not sure if I ever could, she is about half my size which doesnt help either.

$2200.00......... I want one!!

i'm not sold on it yet, i would like to see a race with the yamahacharger and ulmer's set-up first, i'd wait to see what the new 2011 are like first maybe we will finally get our 170 h.p. sled
I would like to see a good set up yamcharger race the new stock catz1 turbo, that would be a race,i helped a guy out with his apex clutching on his dfw set up and he now beats a machz 1000 that last year beat him by 4 sleds,so gearing and clutching are still king.

Ya absolutely, thats why if someone can do an apples to apples race between the same two sleds, both clutched for there owne power and both geared and studded the same and on ice or hard pack, now that would be the race to determine the outcome, and i dont have a problem with a running start as long as they race say 2500-3000 feet,it wont matter much that far.

that awesome to hear, considering the doo people say the apex is to heavy, but the 150 h.p. and a little work can surely hold it own

Once the yamacharger is on the market for this season and I see some guys with lots of trouble free mileage, I'll buy one. I'm planning on dropping the coin this summer for next season as long as it works out well ( I dont wanna wrench on it once its installed.... )

I have been saying this for over 3 mts now.....sure this is awesome, but I would not spend one dime on anything for at least another 3 weeks.

feb 2nd we have a new sled coming and most people in the know are calling it an apex replacement which IMO will have at least 160HP(if not 170)

Im playing the waiting game here myself....if the new sled comes with 160ish HP with a new chassis/handling package/better skid ect ect....no reason to spend 2200 on old tech. apex.

and since i believe the new sled IS A 4 CYLINDER.......we SHOULD see yamcharger version for that new sled in a couple yrs HOPEFULLY.......then we are talking 190HP???????

stay tuned is all im saying!

i hope your right, it would be nice to see a 20 h.p. gain on the Apex, they would sell a lot of them

I'm with ya Dan, I will still wait even if it is a 160 - 170hp sled.....look at both the apex and nytro problems. Skid on apex and bulkheads on nytro. I don't want to deal with either one if I don't have to. Let's hope that they have both of those probs figured out. As far as weight I could care less about if I have a sled that doesn't bend bulkheads and broken skids. Maybe just maybe they with have better bearings in all there idlers as well. I won't push it though.....lol. It would be nice for a lighter sled but if it's going to break all the time I will have my heavy yammy and I will just ride with the doo guy's if I want to see S**t break. Light to me means it's just going to break faster. Back to a weekend of fun and the rest of the week fixing in the garage.

you are right, they have to address the hand warmer, skid and all the rest of the problems before i slap down another $10,000

I don't blame Dan here on waiting. I know I sure would. But to be honest...I am not holding my breath on anything with that much more HP, a new skid AND grips that work all in one sled from Yamaha. I know that Yamaha made VERY few 2010's and with people just simply not spending money, I don't see Yamaha doing much on a new model. I sure hope I'm wrong...and I agree to wait, but if it's the same ol same ol from Yamaha, G-Force will be selling a lot of Yamachargers. I know I would keep my Apex before I spend 10K on something new UNLESS it was pretty significant change. But even then...it's a new model and I don't buy a new model sled...ever. Look at every new model out there. Mach was a perfect example. I want to ride...Not pull it back to the cabin.
