Does anybody know if the y pipes on the fuelie Vectors are stainless or titanium? My sled has 6,000 miles on it. My 06 apex started acting up with similar miles, cracked y pipe both sides. Wondering if others are experiencing greater longevity on the newer vectors. Stuck my head underneath, sounds ok so far. Hoping to get this winter out of the exhaust before replacement.
I wonder how the guy with 40,000 miles on his Vector did with his. I passed him da UP last year.

The Vector and Nytro pipes are all stainless steel. No titanium. It just looks strange because its a low allow stainless which discolors permanently as soon as its heated. I have one Nytro pipe that has never been installed, and it looks stainless, but once heated, it changes to the golden color you see on yours.
The pipe are easily tig welded using a 309 stainless rod, and some guys have had success mig welding them as well.
There is a link out there about welding the headers. If I find it I'll post it here.

Stainless good news. My 03 Rx1 had 12,000 miles on the original stainless exhaust no issues. Hopefully this 10 Vector will last just as long.
