Anyone seen this article from Snowmobile.com ??
http://www.snowmobile.com/manufacturers/yamaha/2010-yamaha-fx-nytro-xtx-review-1097.html
They seem to like the 2010 FX Nytro XTX
If I had the $$ I would order one right away!!

If I was on the market for a new sled, XTX would be my choice.
Even better if it had a larger gas tank since the gas stations are far and between here...

XTX
And the only changes that were made to the 2010 over the 09 was the rear boggy wheels having changible bearings, different (hotter hand warmers) grips and Bold New Graphics.
So does that mean the 09 was or is just as good??? I hope so because I bought a new 09 leftover instead of the 2010 Black XTX that I ordered. (could not pass up the $$ savings by buying the 09)

A buddy of mine is always hinting around of the possibility too, but he bleeds green, and I don't think he could stand to hear it from the rest of the kitty cat dolls....

I'd say after this year, with the new MTX SE up for the challenge, that will be the true test for him. Cat hasn't come out with anything he really wants lately, otherwise, he'd stick with them till no end.
That's just dumb... I ran DOO's for years and now I like Yamaha's... Does not mean I will not switch again. But it is unlikely I would switch to a Cat or Pol. They just never seem to improve their quaility where I would do the switch.. Junk is junk...
You are just missing out on life not to try everything there is. You only got one kick at the can... Make it good....

Trust me my Cat buddy blead green.. he still owns a F8.. but Arctic cat wouldnt take care of him when it came to engine problems.. after he has spent over 100,000 dollors over the last 10 years on sleds and parts..

I wouldn't really call that article a review, more of an overview. It doesn't even sound like they took it for a test ride, more like they sat on it and made assessments and comparisons to last year's model.

I rode with a group of guys last season and let them all try my Attak. They all said their next sled would be a Yamaha. One of them is a very close friend that I have been riding with for years. He has seen me go from Yamaha to Ski-doo to Polaris and back to Yamaha. He is a true Cat Lover I have been trying to get him to try another brand for many years as he is the one who is always and I mean always breaking down. Last season he took both of his Cats so he had one for a backup. Within the first couple of days he destroyed his chaincase on the older one then on the last day he blew the Act drive out of his newer one for the second time. He threw down his helmet and said he was done with Cat. I said are you serious and he said yes. well he still has them hasn't even gone to look at any other brand and his are still broken. On one ride last season after him having both of them go down I told him if both of his Cats weren't sick he could have gone with us LOL.
