I finally just got a chance to take the sled out this year , and of course, its running bad for the best snowfall we've had in 5+ years.
2011 nytro XTX - 10k miles , speedo bearing was replaced about 4 years ago. ONLY MOD is an OFT riser ( only mentioning that because some say the TORS can be an issue with a riser and may need an MTX cable? )
SO I noticed it pretty quick.. Right from the first startup it had a low idle, and seemed like it wanted to die. Took it down the road for a quick spin and it felt OK. So went through some of the deeper powder and i noticed some hesitation on the bottom end.
Started to work my way home , as I knew something wasnt right. On my way home it threw codes 84 and 15 with the check engine and yellow led flashing
Gave it a few more minutes and it went into a high idle ( about 2500-2800 ) SO I shut it down and restarted it.. Idle was back to 1500 ish, but really didn't want to idle good.
Dont know how to describe it in detail, but its kind of hesitant out of the hole, spits and sputters for a bit, and kind of just comes and goes. when I give it throttle from a stand still , it just kind of misses and isnt snappy
SO I think 84 is Tors
15 is TPS
I called Hauck power sports and they mentioned they have seen this a few times already this year and had something to do with the speed sensor or bearing, I cant remember exactly
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as we're supposed to be getting another 3-6 this weekend , and Im just dying to get out on the trail
Thanks Much!

The splices get corroded, take them apart, and clean them up. The purple wired one is part of the TPS circuit (if I remember correctly), voltage fluctuations due to corrosion will begin to set codes. Many eliminate the splices and solder the wires together....that's my summer project. Pulling them apart and cleaning them with a wire bursh is what I did. They're a little tricky to pull apart, so use caution.

Had the same issue with my phazer and was also a fried ground for the tps. May want to check the tps with a multi meter if ground is good.

Adjust the slack on your throttle lever first. Make sure it's within spec. I can't remember the exact spec (try a search), but I think it's like 2-3mm. You may have to route the throttle cable under the bar to gain extra length...that cable is likely too tight right now.

Thanks everyone, . Is there a manual or guide I can look at? Just wanted some ideas to where the location of things are, as this is the first time working on the sled other than clutch work

Still acting up.. I dont know what to do here guys.. Still spits and sputters, yet still rideable, although I dont wanna go to far with it. Random pops, ( not a big backfire or anything ) , But it just seems like the AFRs are off.. Just so finicky.. Rode 15 miles yesterday and neither of the codes came on, but still acts goofy..
Ive been suggested
Speed sensor
tps sensor
bad wiring
speedo bearing
adjust throttle cable due to the OFT relocate..
Problem is , I dont really even know where to start, nor do I know where alot of these things are even located

Just did 550+ miles and agree idle seems to be tender on these Nytros. In the AM, start and let warm up 10 min, if you push it and move even minimally after a few minutes better stay on throttle as it will stall if you let off. Mine drops to 900rpm and stalls. Starts right back up and idles 1300-1600rpm but tender if you hit throttle. Let it warm up 10 min, no issue. I wonder if a throttle body design issue with cold metal... I suspect a lot of Nytro idle complaints are lack of patience or your buddy moves out in two minutes so you jump the gun.
