2011 skid on 08/09

Has anyone experimented with putting a 'newer' skid on an older nytro?
the 2011 on an 09 for example.

i put a 2010 SE skid in my 09 stock mtx.

It will bolt right in. Made a great improvement.

did you change the drivers too?

I've heard some folk say that while you have the track off etc, you may as well change the drivers because the yami ones are no good.. is there any truth to this?

I did not as I just put on the 2010 162" Maverick track and didn't seem the need to swap out the drivers. It worked well.
