2011 xtx clutching options.

Crap. Wish I would have had them put those in when it was all apart. Not a big deal and I'm not worried as there are new ones in it. But all the maintenance that was done didn't cost me a penny so it would have been nice to have them in there.

I'll probably wait til next season to do the extroverts , new track and re clutch. Been an expensive fall/winter for me so far and with 4" of snow on the ground and mid 40s temps on the way, I'll be happy to just get out at all this year.

I wouldn't worry about the plugs, you wouldn't have noticed much of a difference.

If you do mostly trail riding, you don't have to spend extra money on a XTX with extroverts. Their approach angle isn't that bad so the stock drives will work fine with a tight track.

I have the same problem, its a nice -40 (with wind) at work but when I get back home it's supposed to be plus 3C for a high (37F). Least I get to pressure wash out my garage!

I tried cr10ek in my sled and didn't have any luck with them and found they fouled easy. I started it throughout the summer to work on the sled and always let it warm up before I touched the throttle. Before I took it out of the shed I had to switch back to my stock plugs with 5-6000 km on them and those are still in it, now with 7000 km. A lot of people run them and have had good luck but I won't use them. There are others on here that have found the same as me. Don't worry about the plugs. You won't feel any difference IF they make 2-3 extra hp.

Thought I would ask a question about clutching. Not meaning to hijack the thread.

Is anyone on here running Schmidt bros stage 2 kit with 19 gearing and backcountry track? If so how do you like it and what are you seeing for top end speed?

Running the same setup (with different clutch), I am running about 135-140km/hr on the lake. This isn't hard pack but I am revving to about 9000rpm so I am almost fully shifted. Stock was about 160km/hr at 8700rpm (roughly). I didn't find an idea, hard packed location to find true top speed last year (I dropped a gear last year from 20T).
