2012 apex chaincase?

Do I have to take the 2 darker bolts off on the chain case to get the cover off ? I had no problems with my 07 apex but they have changed a few things. Any help would be great.

Yes, if it is anything like my 2008. They bolt to the chain tensioner shaft and the reverse gear assembly shaft.

Thanks for the reply. I was to tall, I missed a bolt.
