Hey there, my right side heated grip stopped working. Any idea where to start looking to fix it. Or is it better to replace it.

my right grip failed last year turned out to be the element had a little wrinkle in it and it broke from stress of ridding. replaced with a set off ebay only changed the one and now it heats way better then the stock one and it gets to hot while the stock one is not hot enough so now i need to change the other one and i should be better then stock

I would check the wire connect. Very easy to break if you ever twisted the control pod too much.

I had the same thing happen on my left side last spring. You can test the resistance of it with an ohm meter or just trace it back to the connection point and switch connections with your left warmer. If your left warmer heats up still then you'll have to replace the grip. If it doesn't than it will be past that point and you have to switch the connector.
Swapping grip was really easy. Ordered an oem one and two rivets, went to my garage put a lil heat on it after removing rivets, pulled grip off with some twisting and an air hose. Removed the bad warmer and scraped the bar clean. Put new warmer on and used Aussie hairspray gel, as directed by dealer, and aligned grip then rivets.
Pretty simple fix really. I like my 2010 apex gt heated grips so I wanted them both the same.
Hope this helps
