2012 Vector - Yet another stud question

As this is my first post, I would like to apologize for posting yet another stud question, but I have spent the last few night reading up and am still not clear.

I just bought a 2012 RS Vector (121" track, not the LTX model) to replace my 1998 Vmax 700 XTC (which has been a bulletproof sled).

I am picking up the Vector next weekend and while I am in the snowmobiling mood, would like to get it ready for next season by studding it.

As I don't have the sled yet to look at a have the following questions/concerns:

-Does it have factory tunnel protectors (keep in mind it is not a LTX)?
-If I run 1.325" studs, will I have clearance issues? (I've read the Apex with EXUP may).
-I have always ran 96 studs on my 98 700, is more recommended on the Vector?
-If it does have factory protectors, do they need to modified like the Apex's?

I studded my 121 vector with extreme max 1.4 two per bar worked great . Yes tunnel protectors are in place No special issues.

I also had the XTC 700 and loved it. bullet proof sled
