From what I see so far the cat is not a rocket in dead stock form. I raced a friend of mine with my 21000mile apex. I only have 4 mods, airbox, spark plugs, dragon fly ramps and 23 gear. the cat stock with 300 miles and 125lbs driver ans i am 200lbs
We run mostly rolling races where it is difficult to get a perfectly even start. I never won a race, but I did'nt lose any race more than 2 lenths. 10 or so races were from 40 mph to 100-110 on the cat speedo. lenghts ranged from a cuklpe feet behind to 2 lenghts. One race from a dig and he still did'nt get me more than 2. he has the pull from 50to85-90 and after that it evens out right before he lets off, where I start to gain back ever so slightly enough that he can see me in his mirror.
So now I have an idea bout those sleds so when I come up against my other lieing freinds and their claims of stock sleds.
I just thought i was ging to lose bad, from all the youtube vids of the prototype, that shows a rocket.

That you tube video was shot in higher elevation, the 800 wasnt making near the power it would at sea level.
