Me and my brother(7 skulls) finally got to run head to head on some long beaches allowing both quads to stretch there legs.Through the first four gears there pretty much neck and neck.Only at 65mph does the raptor finger walk away slightly. As the 450 gets more hours(25 vs 60 for my raptor)the difference may be less.At our local sand pit yesterday i found his YFZ450 a much better jumper. It feels lighter along with a powerband that loves the loose sand. But my 6ft frame found it odd when i rode the YFZ after riding all afternoon on the raptor.Lots more room on the 700.My 700 scarred me once when climbing a dune it started to lift the nose unexpectedly(all that low end torque can be a handfull, even for a lifetime quad rider). The reverse on the 700 saved me once from having to get out of a tight place. Here are some pics.
