2013 apex cold start flooding

you might have fouled a plug. i usually go for a bit longer ride than that and make sure it gets hot.
Rode it for an hour definitely got up to temp. Seems like if it had a fouled plug would run rough. Ran fine, just an issue with the last 2 cold starts.

how did you make out? I would look at gas too. a batch of bad gas from a can loaded with water or from a station can screw it up.

It ran fine after I got it started. Only been an issue on the last 2 cold starts after sitting a few weeks. Sputters runs rough, smell the fuel, crack throttle slightly and it starts. Then runs fine the rest of the day. Also started fine the next day after sitting overnight. I hear people talk about bad gas have never experienced that in 25 years of riding. Not in my sleds, boats, cars nothing. I’d think if bad gas it would just never run right even after warm? It’s a cold start issue after sitting for a few weeks. Sleds in a trailer and cranking over fast with the new battery. Zero issue the first 2 months of the season and suddenly an issue after last 2 cold starts. If it happens again this weekend I’ll throw new plugs in it. Just trying to avoid that since I don’t have a garage or heated space to do it up north.

True. It wouldn't run when warm with bad gas probably. Keep us posted on how you make out finally.
